I decided to do a 4-day photo tour in the Rhodope Mountains to shoot some winter theme photos. I had several goals. I wanted to photograph the tops of the mountain, as well as people from remote villages. I stayed at “Orlovets” Hotel in Pamporovo. It is on a very convenient location and at an acceptable distance to the planned spots. Let’s not forget its comfort and irreplaceable view as well. I was lucky that the roads were passable. Naturally, the nice shots came from the unforeseen situations occurring on the tour. I got a dozen great frames that I will show later. I post one here. I am willing to participate in several photography competitions with them. Authentic Bulgarian nature is something we can be proud of. I have come to the conclusion that with such photos you can be noticed on big forums and competitions. Two of my photos have already been featured, and they are exactly from the Rhodope Mountains.
On my way back, I had an unforgettable meeting at the Bachkovo Monastery. I photographed a novice there. The photos turned out in an incredible Dostoevsky style. They will turn into a great photo story that I will post here on the website. Unexpected meetings make the best photos.
