For the first time I took part in the world photo competition „35 Photo Awards“. As a young photographer, I didn’t have much experience with the international participation and I had found out about the competition a few days before the deadline. But I was very enthusiastic and I uploaded photos without thinking much about it. Many interesting months followed, and I took the opportunity to learn many things – about the scale, the quality of the photographs, the great photographers such as the jury and participants. There were three competition rounds, and the finalists were chosen among almost half a million photos and 117,000 photographers. At each stage, many of my photos dropped out, but there were always some that moved forward. A single photo in the “Everyday Life” category, a series of 9 frames in the “Day Landscapes” section and a series of 6 frames in the “Street Photography” category reached the finish line. For me, the end result was more than great, even slightly undeserved. I look forward to the next edition of the competition, for which I will prepare much better. And these were the categories in which my shots took part:
- Top 35 – Photographers from Bulgaria
- Top 35 – Street Photography – Series
- Top 100 – Day landscapes – series
- Top 100 – Everyday life – the best photographers
To the results of the competition
